Agaricus Blazei Murill
Mushrooms are among the healthiest foods in nature. They are rich in amino acids, vitamins, minerals, proteins, enzymes, antioxidants and rich in Beta-D-Glucans, valuable polysaccharide whose main function is to stimulate the immune system; ergosterol and lectin, inhibitors of tumor cell proliferation. In recent years a mushroom native to the Atlantic Forest in São Paulo has become the object of attention of scientists worldwide. It is the Agaricus Blazei Murill mushroom. What distinguishes the ABM from other mushrooms is the enormous amount of substances with pharmacological properties, including the ß-D-Glucans, the amino acids arginine, lectin and ergosterol, larger than those quantified in mushrooms such as Maitake, Reishi and Shiitake. There are 14,000 kinds of fungi in the world divided into classes, orders, families, species. Laboratory tests found that the ABM of the Atlantic Forest is 10 times more potent than fungi from the same species. It has been mainly used as an adjuvant in cancer treatment in Japan, Brazil and the United States, and currently 90% of mushrooms consumed in Japan are imported from Brazil.
Brazilian researchers have shown in scientific studies that the medicinal properties of mushroom ABM prevent atherosclerosis, fight free radicals, emotional stress, stimulate the immune system, prevent osteoporosis, improve the quality of life of patients of various diseases including diabetics; improve the cardiovascular system and promotes metabolic balance. Scientific trials in cancer patients suggest that consumption of the ABM extract ameliorates the deleterious effects of traditional medication such as radio and chemotherapy.
Considering these relevant factors, Wax Green offers you the purest ABM mushroom in the form of capsules and extract. Our ultimate goal is to help you maintain a healthy body and a robust immune system. Regular consumption of ABM can prevent many diseases, and prevention is better than cure! The ABM mushroom is a gift to your health. Be sure to enjoy this gift of Nature!
Informative note: The Mushroom Agaricus Blazei Murill was so named by the Belgian botanist Heinemann in 1967 for being similar to the ABM species from the Agaricaceae family. However the scientific name of this fungus is Agaricus subrufescens, also called Himematsutake in Japan and Mushroom of God and/or Sun Mushroom by the natives of the Atlantic Forest, but it is marketed worldwide as ABM.
